12 Tools That Every Pardot User Should Know About

Make your job (and life) easier by using one of these 12 tools I recommend for Pardot users. These tools will save you time and automate tasks such as sifting through hundreds of email replies once a big email campaign has gone out or automatically sending out your blog digest email.

1. Eventable

Eventable is an easy way to create an “add to calendar” button within your Pardot emails or landing pages. It’s free to use as long as you don’t mind having their branding below the button.

2. Word to HTML Cleaner

Marketing content is often created in Word and if you copy directly from Word to Pardot, the formatting can carry over causing rendering issues. I use a Word to HTML Converter to get rid of the unwanted code Word creates then I simply copy & paste the HTML into my Pardot email.

3. Siftrock

How are you handling your email replies? Siftrock monitors your email replies to improve your database health and deliverability. You can invalidate out-of-date contacts, find job changes immediately and update phone numbers & titles from email signatures.

4. Sender Score

Sender Score grades the reputation of outgoing mail servers on a scale of 0 to 100. The higher the score, the more trustworthy the sender. Mail servers often check your Sender Score before deciding what to do with your emails — if your score is low, your emails are more likely to end up in junk or bulk folders or be blocked altogether

5. FeedOtter

FeedOtter takes out the manual work of creating blog digests and RSS emails. Simply tell FeedOtter when to send your Pardot RSS email, schedule a daily, weekly, or monthly digest or send blog posts and content to subscribers as they are published in real-time. They even have a library of responsive, visually appealing templates to make your Pardot RSS email look great or you can choose to upload you own.

6. HTML to Text Email Converter

Sometimes using the “Sync From HTML” option can cause giant gaps within the text version of your email. This handy tool automatically creates a beautiful text version of your email. All you need to do is copy and paste your email HTML and click convert!

7. Email Validation by Fresh Address

This Email Validation tool checks that an address in your database actually exists and is accepting email. It can also identify any damaging addresses you have in your database including spamtraps, honeypots, frequent spam complainers, disposable domains, malicious enteries and bogus addresses.

8. Trailhead Modules

Pardot recently launched a trail on Trailhead. There are currently two modules that you can complete to earn your new badges, Pardot Basics and Pardot Basics Pardot Lead Generation. It’s a great way to learn Pardot and if you’re already an expert, a great way to onboard new users.

9. Pardot Plugin For WordPress

With a single login, your WordPress installation will be securely connected with Pardot. With the selection of your campaign, you’ll be able to track visitors and work with forms and dynamic content without touching a single line of code. You can use the widget to place a form or dynamic content anywhere a sidebar appears, or embed them in a page or post using a shortcode or the Pardot button on the Visual Editor’s toolbar.

10. Litmus Scope

Litmus Scope enables you to create a clean, web-based version of any email, with desktop and mobile previews. It’s perfect for sharing, and it’s totally free.

11. Naming Convention Generator

This naming convention generator will help you come up with the perfect name for your automation rules, lists, emails and more. Thanks for the awesome tool Ideas!

12. Bulletproof buttons for emails

This tool creates beautiful buttons that work in every email client. Simply select your button styles, add your link and copy and paste the HTML into your Pardot email.
